Data Retention Policy

Intrinix Systems collects minimal personal information and retains it only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy, operate the Site, respond to inquiries, and comply with legal obligations.

We follow data minimization: we do not keep data longer than required and securely delete or anonymize it when no longer needed.

1. Retention Periods by Data Category

• Contact Form Submissions (name, email, business name, message): Retained up to 12 months after submission or last interaction (for follow-up or record-keeping). Deleted or anonymized thereafter unless needed for legal reasons.
• Analytics Data (anonymized usage stats via Google Analytics): Retained up to 26 months (Google's default), then automatically anonymized or deleted to prevent re-identification.
• Server Logs & Security Data (IP addresses, access timestamps): Retained 6-12 months for security monitoring and troubleshooting. Extended only if part of an active investigation.
• Aggregated/Anonymized Data (non-personal site usage statistics): Retained indefinitely, as it cannot identify individuals.

2. Deletion & Anonymization

We securely delete or anonymize data when retention is no longer necessary (e.g., overwriting files, cryptographic erasure). Backups are purged within 90 days of deletion requests where feasible.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time via our contact form. We process requests within 30-45 days (per applicable laws like TIPA or CCPA/CPRA), subject to legal exceptions.

3. Exceptions to Deletion

We may retain data longer if required by:

• Legal obligations (e.g., tax or audit requirements).
• Ongoing disputes, litigation, or investigations.
• Fraud prevention or security incidents.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in practices or law. Updates are posted here with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
